Here it is, almost March, and I still haven’t posted anything since the middle of February. That only means one of two things … either I’ve been extremely busy or I’ve been extremely lazy. Probably the latter.
Sigh … well, I guess I could mention that I started doing some geneology research on my family. It’s been very interesting so far. Maybe the fact that my mother recently passed away has caused this urgent need within myself to find out more about my ancestors. Anyway, my cousin, Michelle, did some extensive research some years ago and I’m going to get the information she has next time I’m up her way. And I found a distant relative of mine while searching on a geneology site. I came upon a picture of my grandfather on my mother’s side. I saw the picture (I have one at home in my family picture album) and I thought, “Wow! That’s my PawPaw Lee. Wonder who posted the picture.” Mary, a distant relative, had posted it on the website, so I contacted her via email and we’ve been corresponding. As it turns out, my Grandpa and her mother were brother and sister. She has since emailed me tons of information she’s accumulated throughout the last 25 years … way before computers made it easy to find the information. I know she put a tremendous number of hours into all that research! I’m so appreciative that she is willing to share it with me.
And that’s about all I’ve been doing lately other than going to work and coming home to sleep. I lead a very mundane life …
