Sunday was my sister’s birthday. We had a party for her at Vadie’s Longhorn Bar in Giddings. One of her friends is a funny, sweet lady named Rita. She’s originally from Germany but has lived here a long time. (She’s widowed now). She’s from a place in Germany called Altenbuch Unterfrangen Hanau Germany … as if I could pronouce it!
